YOUR PAIN HAS A PURPOSE

WELCOME!
My name is Olivia and I am so glad that you're here. God designed you for a unique purpose and yes even the struggle is apart of the story.
We can learn to find strength and hope even in the midst of pain. And the best way to do that is to lean on the Lord and chase after Him.
I pray my words are encouraging and that you're reminded of God's love and truth.

2016 vs 2026 me
Here are some pictures of me in the year 2016. Read below what is on my heart…. The trend that's going around called “2026 is the new 2016” has affected me more deeply than I anticipated. It opens the door to a season of my life that still feels sacred. Back then, my body was already fighting battles, but it carried me anyway—into so many experiences that shaped who I am. I pushed past limits most people never had to consider just to move alongside my peers, and I’m deeply gr

Disability Pride
I missed it by a day but July was Disability Pride Month and I loved seeing everyone post about it and share awareness and their experiences and passion for this community that I’m so grateful to be apart of. 💗 To me, disability pride means fully embracing my disability. It means accepting ourselves just the way we are, not something to change, but honoring each other’s uniqueness and being seen as equals. Becoming disabled pushed myself to pay attention to my needs and ask

Prayer for the depressed
This morning, I was about to listen to my daily Bible plan podcast and I clicked on a button and saw “Depression and Suicide” as the title. Then I go back and realize it’s not that topic at all lol. And I’m like is my eyesight that bad or is God speaking to me. And I definitely felt in my heart that it was from the Lord. So I spent some time praying for people out in the world struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. I read some online and it really touched my heart.

Awareness talk
🌿 🎗️ May is officially over but I wanted to make a post acknowledging the awareness months that occurred. The awareness months are for Mental health, EDS, and Fibromyalgia. They all have been a big struggle in my life. But God is good and so faithful and has guided me on this journey. Growing up with severe anxiety, OCD, and undiagnosed autism alone was tough. Getting diagnosed with more physical illnesses at 16, making me very depressed, wanting to end my life. Experienci

OCD as a Christian
It’s OCD awareness month and week!! This is so important to me because I have a lot of experience dealing with this disorder. 🤍 Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) consists of a pattern of unwanted intrusive thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead you to do repetitive behaviors (compulsions). These obsessions and compulsions interfere daily with activities (even simple ones) and cause a significant amount of distress. A lot of it has to do within your head. People with OCD

Chronic disease & Faith
It’s chronic disease day! A chronic illness is a condition that lasts longer than a year, limits your activity and requires ongoing care. 6 out of 10 adults in the US are diagnosed with a chronic disease. This day is to spread awareness, educate, and advocate. ✨Chronic illness is often unseen. You know what else is unseen- Faith! Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” It is so hard to believe in something that
