Give and He’ll multiply

God has given each of us gifts to be used for His glory. Spiritual gifts are gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit to be used to edify and to build up the church. What gift has God given you? I added a list of spiritual gifts below so you can figure out which ones you have. Pray over the list of spiritual gifts and ask God to show you which ones He has personally chosen for you.

God wants us to use our gifts. When we get our eyes off of ourselves and just give what we have, God will work beautiful things through it. Don’t hold back your gift because of fear. Let go of the expectations that may be holding you back.

We may feel like we can’t measure up or that we aren’t enough for the job. But God says, “I don’t need you to measure up. I am actually doing this thing. I just need you to show up and obey me. I need you to be faithful, not perfect. Trust me in the results.”

Do you remember the story about the little boy with the fishes and loaves? How the disciples gave it to Jesus to feed the crowd of 5,000? You can find the passage in Matthew 4, or the other gospels. But what did Jesus do with the food? He blessed it and then it multiplied. It’s the same for you and me—If you give what you have to God, He will bless it, and multiply it. Give the loaves and fishes, your gifts , and trust God to bring the rest. It is not your job to feed the 5,000, it’s God’s job to do it. He will provide and meet the needs. You just need to be faithful in giving it. You are a vessel.

When we bring what we have to Jesus—He blesses our resources as we put them to use. He turns what we have into more than enough as we trust Him and do what He tells us to do.

Things always work out better when we ask God to bless something, because God will not bless something that is not good. But when it is good, and when God blesses it, great things happen.

You can fully trust God with your gift. It is never too small to make a difference in this world. Your gift is uniquely yours. He will expand it and it should grow. We just have to step up in courage and give what we have to God, no matter how little, God will always provide more. He is faithful. ♡
