Hey guys! I wanted to share one cool thing God has been speaking to me! 🥰
So He started giving me signs. I was at a coffee shop one day doing my Bible and I randomly chose Psalm 116 & it mentions calling on God several times. I noticed the repetition but didn’t really think much of it. Then a few days later God repeativly showed an ad for this devotional book called “Go For It”. I felt like He was leading me to buy it. So I did! And that book title was perfect timing, aligning with where I was in my life. One of the first pages the words popped out to me “Call on the Lord”, and I was like that sounds familiar. I recognized there was a connection there from that passage I read. Time passed and I just sat with it. But a third time it was spoken-“Call upon the name of the Lord”. In 2 of my Bible study groups, those words were brought up in some unique ways. And I felt the power of it. I was like wow, that’s confirmation from God, He’s wanting me to call upon His name more and for a deeper reason. And here’s today, I read another page of my book and again see those words. I realized God was calling me to even more, to go for it (like the book says). But that I would need to call upon the name of the Lord to get me through whatever opportunity He’d place in my life. I don’t know what’s coming but I feel it. So I’m going to put a bigger focus on calling on God and reflecting on that and prayer. And just grow in that area, so that I will be ready to fight any spiritual warfare that comes my way. I just ask the Lord for me to be consistent to work on this.
Though this was my experience, I pray from this message, that you are willinging to fight hard for your prayer life, seeing the importance of calling on God’s name. He always listens to our prayers. He wants us to reach out to Him. When you are struggling, call out to Him for help. Even if all you can do is cry out His name, Jesus. He will respond, He will provide. Open up yourself to God’s voice. No matter what situation, even good ones, we can come to God with our requests and needs, knowing He is faithful to His promises always. He’s available 24/7. And He loves to hear your voice, the voice of His children. 💗
