A poem I wrote…

“Your Voice Is Heard”

I cry and I cry, holding on to dear life,

but no one hears the aching of my soul.

No one sees the weight I endure,

and sometimes I’d rather keep silent than tell how I feel—

because it hurts so deeply knowing

they may hear, but not believe it’s real.

Yet holding it all inside seeps through every part of you

and steals even the good memories.

Maybe it’s okay to keep some things to yourself,

but know you don’t have to stay there—

for there is beauty in vulnerability,

beauty in every detail of who you are.

And there is strength within you, step by step,

no matter which path you take.

The world may never understand your pain,

it's been shaped into a visibility game.

Yet it will not overcome, it will not win.

You don’t have to prove, nor pretend.

For the simplicity of your being, right here,

is seen, and heard, and known beyond imagination.

Clouds of life will come and go—

some racing, some drifting slow.

Still, you are free to take all the time you need

to heal the places that feel broken,

to face the hollow spaces of heavy burdens

and lay them down piece by piece.

In their place, plant new seeds to grow,

full of truth, love, and wholeness.

No matter the voices that echo around,

your voice is worthy, steady, and sound.

Though fear may whisper lies that are crippling,

you are capable of fighting for the love

and support you deserve.

You are so very loved, so deeply heard.

On this journey, freedom will find you.

There will be moments you hide,

but even then, you are seen—

seen for the courage in every attempt.

You are enough, right here, in this space.

Your pain is valid, and you are held by grace.
