Is His strength sufficient?

The devil often puts in my mind, that I'm not strong enough and am weak. But when I really think about it, aren't we supposed to feel that way. For mental health's sake, the world tries to convince us that we are strong enough. But the truth is we actually aren't a lot of the time, at least not on our own. The good news is that we have a God who is always strong enough.

It’s okay to not always feel strong because God is our strength. We may feel weak, weary, or fragile and that's okay. It's the power of sin that has caused that. But when we turn to God, we don’t have to rely on how we feel. We can rely on God’s power and lean onto His strength, rather then your own.

Even when we don’t have the strength, even when we fall and can’t pick ourselves up, our mighty Lord reaches down with His powerful right hand and lifts us.

Pain can be strong, but our God is always stronger. He has the victory and has already won. As we fight our battles today, may we remember that even in our weaknesses, Jesus is more than enough. Hold onto His perfect grace. 🤍

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

- Isaiah 41:10
