Psalm 18. The Lord is our Rock! This chapter is full of so much beauty and power. Definitely go read this whole chapter if you can. 🥰
This Psalm is a triumphant song that David wrote, praising the Lord for delivering him from his enemies. Worshiping God for who He is and what He’s done. It describes the great work of the Lord. David describes God as our strength, our shield, our fortress, our refuge, our deliverer, our stronghold, and our salvation. How amazing is that?! What a blessing we have. We don’t have to run to the things of this world to find safety—because God is right there to be all we need. Run to Him immediately when you feel overwhelmed and have anxious thoughts.
We need to build our lives on His solid foundation. We don’t have to worry about life feeling shaky and unstable, when we choose to stand strong on His solid ground. We can always count on Him. He is our safe place, our hiding spot, a covering. Thank you Lord for being our Rock and allowing us to be able to come to you for safety.

✨ God…
hears our voice when we call on Him
soars on the wings of the wind
draws us out of deep waters
loves and delights in us
rewards those who are faithful
turns our darkness into light
arms us with strength
✨ We need to…
keep the ways of the Lord
live a life of righteousness
call upon the Lord when in distress
sing the praises of His name
accept God’s rescue and salvation
rely on His strength
have humility

Here are some verses from Psalm 18! 🤍
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.
- Psalm 18:16
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!
