Easter time

Happy Easter everyone! 💛 Three days after Jesus’ death, He is risen! He resurrected! Today is a day of victory and celebration! Jesus has overcome, He has won. Let’s praise our God for the joy and hope He’s given us!

Here is a poem I wrote called The One with those Scars.

Oh how grateful I am and how faithful you are

Lord, you died for my sins

and there’s proof in your scars

I’m so underserving, yet He called me worthy

You came down to earth, left from above

To fight for us and express His love

The battle left you worn, and they broke you down

But it wasn’t the end, He rose and He won

What looked like defeat became victory

The holes in your hands and the crown of thorns

They thought it was over, but no there was more

For the sinless Savior gave His life for ours

And I’m understood by the one with those scars

Thank you Jesus! 💓

Matthew 28:1-7 // Jesus' Resurrection

“After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
