Born in a manager

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄 Here’s something encouraging to take with you today:

I love the story is Jesus’ birth and how God used even the small details for a bigger purpose. One of those things is how Jesus was born in a manager. We may have thought why did Jesus have to come into the world in such rough conditions. He is the King after all and deserves royalty. Instead though, He was born in humility. God’s own Son came to earth in the lowliest of circumstances, in meekness. They didn’t have a cozy crib in a nice inn but God’s plan prevailed even more. He was born nevertheless. God works for His good plans even in hard conditions, where things might not feel right.

When we do God’s will, we are not guaranteed comfort & convenience. But we are promised that everything has meaning in God’s plan, even the discomfort.

God’s timing is perfect. We can’t wait for the perfect conditions for God to move. We have to trust whenever God works and know He will keep His promises no matter where we are at. He is Immanuel meaning “God with us”.

Remember: Jesus is the best gift and the reason for the season! Happy Holidays! ❄️

Cool Fact: The Messiah was laid in a feeding trough. The food that fills the hunger of animals was replaced with Jesus Christ. What’s so incredible is that Jesus is actually the food to our soul, He is what satisfies our hunger too, He is the one who fills us up. Let Him be enough for you this Christmas and forevermore.

And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. - Luke 2:17
